ATAS UK were tactically set up by it's proprietor Russell Mott to provide independent auditing, training and assessment services to the construction and specialist sectors in the built environment. Russell's diverse background was founded in engineering starting off in rail before moving towards the mechanical engineering and petrochemical industry. Russell more recently set up a business to provide engineering building services to the commercial and domestic sectors covering construction and retrofit installations, service and maintenance in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) sector. With a diverse health & safety background Russell achieved his NEBOSH (National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health) Certification back in 2003 and was admitted as an IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) Technician Member in 2011. The latter years have been spent working closely with trade bodies promoting technical excellence and managing compliance in health and safety legislation and international standards.
